Three Popular Dog Coaching Strategies

Is there a reason many dog owners are not successful when training their dogs?  Yes!  Many people don’t start training sufficiently early, when a dog is a puppy and is more receptive to training.  The longer the training is left, the harder it is to train the dog.

There are 3 common dog training methods a dog owner desires to grasp to make teaching obedience more effective.

1.  – Use positive reinforcement to educate good behavior.  This will tell the dog that it’s behaving properly, the way that you need.  Use treats like pieces of chicken to reward your dog when it has done a role in the right way.

2.  – Don’t confuse your dog.  Be effective in the way you teach your dog by being consistent with your commands and actions.  As an example if your dog toilets inside the house, move on it right away; punishing your dog 15 mins after the event will prove nothing.  The dog has leant that going toilet within is ok…

3.  – Showing your dog attention as quickly as you get home.  If your dog is hyper initially, leave him alone till he quietens down.  If he jumps on you, turn your back to him and in a loud voice so “NO!” Give your dog attention when he calms down.

I have printed three of the common dog training secrets that you can use to effectively train your dog.

Most importantly make sure that you don’t send your dog confused messages.  It is common for owners to do this, and the dog doesn’t understand.  Like giving them attention when they’re jumping all over you; This is the time you need to be effective in your actions

Most people do not understand that there is more to training a dog than they first realize and it is something that must be worked on.
